Known as the Flower Of Flowers, Ylang ylang is famous for its calming properties. It has a wonderfully balancing and stimulating effect on the skin, to correct sebum production and is also used to stimulate hair growth. Ylang ylang oil has a euphoric and sedative effect on the nervous system and helps to relieve anxiety and extreme mood swings associated with PMS.
Blends well with: bergamot, sweet orange, grapefruit, lavender, geranium, clary sage, lime, neroli, rosewood, spearmint, sandalwood
