German Chamomile, otherwise known as Blue Chamomile, has a high content of azulene, the active organic compound of chamomile, which bears a blue color. Azulene has anti-inflammatory, skin healing properties. One of the rare oils suitable for newborns, it’s a calming and sedative oil, inducing peace and relaxation. Chamomile is indispensable if you have children - it can be used for nappy rash, teething troubles and in the bath to ease anxiety.

Try It: If your baby is having teething issues, add 2 drops Chamomile German oil to 10ml massage oil base. Massage along baby's jawline, carefully avoiding the mouth.

Blends well with: rose, lavender, cedarwood, neroli, clary sage, ylang ylang, geranium

Caution: Avoid use during first trimester pregnancy. Essential oil use on pets should be diluted well in a medium before direct application.
